About The Program

Courteous Kids is a program designed to provide the necessary tools to build your child's confidence in a variety of social settings. From deciding which fork to use for a salad to planning a party, children will learn how to express themselves thoughtfully and respectfully through an interactive, hands-on approach to etiquette that makes it fun to learn and easy to remember.

The Courteous Kids program provides instruction in life skills such as table manners, personal communication skills and social etiquette.

 

 
 

 
Topics  
What's right? What's cool? Students will learn the basic principles of etiquette are cool: Respect Yourself and Respect Others.  
Students will role play various situations, learn safe information to divulge and important information to record.  
Children will learn the often itimidating "tablescape" of dining: flatware, seating, napkins, posture and the art of pleasant conversation.  
Students will learn the who, what, where and when of giving and attending a party when they design and plan their own invitation. Children will learn the importance of an appreciative and well-written thank you note and correspondence.
